We're excited to announce extended office hours on Monday from 8 to 9 a.m. for Drs. Anglim & Desai, and from 5 to 6 p.m. for Drs. Anglim, Desai & Straley; Tuesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. for Drs. Kaufman & Straley, Thursday from 8 to 9 a.m. for Dr. Kaufman, and Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. for Dr. Kronberg. Extended hours are for well-check appointments. Now you can schedule well-check visits without having to miss work or school. This, combined with our same-day sick visit policy, helps us to meet your busy scheduling needs.
Our online health portal, Children's Connect, allows you to schedule or request appointments online, even after hours. Plus, you can email your child's health care team when it's convenient for you.
Our after-hours phone service connects you with nurses specifically trained in pediatric medicine. If necessary, they'll put you in touch with a pediatrician or refer you to a Children's Urgent Care Center for immediate attention. Your call placed to this service should be of an urgent nature. Non-urgent calls, such as prescription refills, behavior problems and appointments should be made through Children's Connect or during office hours.
Our lactation consultants are available to help moms feel more confident and relaxed with the breast-feeding process and can offer assistance with issues like:
Finding the right breast-feeding position
Each of our lactation consultants is a registered nurse certified by the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants, the highest certification available for lactation consultants. Call our office to schedule an appointment with one of our lactation consultants.
