Congratulations to two Children's Physicians pediatricians who were recognized for excellence in teaching. The Faculty Teaching Award for Creighton Medical Students was presented to Cristina Fernandez, who practices at our Creighton University Medical Center office located on the sixth floor inside Creighton University Medical Center on 30th Street.
The Community Faculty Teaching Award from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) medical students was presented to Erin Loucks, MD, who practices at our Dundee office located at 51st and Dodge.
The Creighton awards are determined by a medical student class vote. The UNMC awards are determined by faculty and resident evaluations during pediatric rotations with the clerkship diretor making the final decision.
